Vivianne Cuq
One of the owners and founders of ChileMontaña, Vivianne organized and successfully led the first female Latin American expedition to Mt. Everest in 2001.
Vivianne is a veterinary doctor who fell in love with the mountains and has decided to dedicate her life to this passion and those things she enjoys most: mountaineering, climbing, skiing, paragliding and horseback riding. Over the last decade, Vivianne has been leading mountaineering expeditions as well as climbing, trekking and cultural trips all over South America.
Vivianne lived in Switzerland and Italy for over seven years and one of her achievements includes having been the first Latin American woman to participate in the UIAA Sports Climb World Cup. She also organized and led the first South American female expedition to the Himalayas (Cho Oyu 8,201m) in 1999.
