Eduardo left behind his life as an accountant to pursue his passion and dreams. In 1999, he moved from his home country Catalonia, Spain, to Chile, where he became a certified UIAGM guide. Today, Eduardo is a well known rock and ice climber and has opened new routes and climbing schools all over South America. He is also the president of the Chilean Mountain Guide Association and is actively involved in the creation of common guiding standards across South American countries in collaboration with the USAGM (South American Mountain Guide Association) and the UIAGM.
